2021 Feng Shui for Men

T8E Blog - 2021 Feng Shui for Men

Each year a new energy visits the 9 houses of feng shui, the 8 compass directions and center sector.

Since each house is associated with a number, when a new energy moves into a new house, a new energy combination is created.

We can look at these energy combinations in a variety of ways. It's not limited to just The 8 Elements and their houses or the houses they're visiting. It can also be applied geographically, to areas of states and provinces, countries and continents. The health of our human bodies, emotional wellbeing and relationship dynamics. Finance and industry, education and vocations, career and business. YOU and your family.

Because each element is associated with a member of the family, we can look at the annual energy visiting their house to see what kind of a year they might have and determine what kind of support they might need.

It's important to remember that energy moves in cycles. That means that visiting energy is only present for a year for annual energies and a month for monthly energies. So, if your house is being visited by a challenging energy, there are some life lessons to be learned, but this too shall pass. And if fortunate energy is visiting your house, I encourage you to take full advantage of it, every single day!

Men

Fathers & Husbands, Heads of Households & Leaders (Presidents & CEOs)

Last year men enjoyed an energy that brings balance and an abundance of good things. It's what may have helped them and other heads of households, continue to provide well for their families, even during a year in which many people lost their jobs, incomes and businesses.

This year, the energy that caused so much mischief in 2020 moves from the Center to the Northwest. This "Violence Star" brings the potential for fights that may devolve into physical assaults with deadly weapons, especially sharp metal objects like knives and swords, machetes and axes, as well as, firearms. It also brings competition, especially at work, and some head butting with authority figures, like a boss.

Other challenging aspects of the 7 are feelings of guilt and shame, as well as, regret for past misdeeds, mistreatment of others, especially children, and mismanagement of their time and money, energy and resources.

Excerpt from the blog, Soft Metal: Light & Dark

"The Soft Metal 7 brings lying, cheating and stealing. Robberies and petty theft, intellectual property and identity theft. Fraud. Imprisonment and isolation. Laziness. Childishness. Mind games. Narcissism and gaslighting. Passive aggressive behaviors. Mental health issues. Social experiments. Violence, backstabbing and bleeding from injuries by metal. Fire accidents. Slander and arguments. Competition. Inadvertencies with documents, lawsuits and legal battles.

Soft Metal energy can also bring joy and creativity, childlike wonder, imagination and magic, fun and playfulness, friends and socialization, self expression through art and music, excellence and sophistication, moral behavior and ethical business practices, the finer things and little luxuries of life, speaking engagements, teaching moments, promotions and raises."

The House of Men is being visited by an energy that brings "Theft & Fraud". Potential for identity theft and credit card fraud is high. It's important to have a credit monitoring service or carefully check your credit card statements for fraudulent charges.

Middle-aged men can expect to experience some "Sickness & Separation". They might have a "mid-life" crisis. A health scare or relationship issues are likely. They should make their health a priority and be honest with themselves and their partner about how they feel about their marriage or commitments. It's a good year to let go of things that aren't working.

Because, Soft Metal energy is represented by the mouth and chest, men may require dental work, have difficulty breathing or suffer from respiratory dis-ease. In combination with the Hard Metal energy of the NW, men may also experience pulmonary conditions or heart dis-ease, brain issues like aneurysms, tumors, strokes and Alzheimer's, as well as, headaches and head injuries. They many benefit from supplementing with a nootropic.

How Men Can Help Themselves

Be honorable. Just do the right thing. The moral and ethical thing. Take other people's needs and preferences into consideration. Honor your own needs.

Be impeccable with your word. Honesty is the best policy. The truth may be hard to hear or say and it may cause some upset in the moment. Everyone involved will be better off in the long run. So, just speak your truth.

Breathe. Practice the Wim Hof Method to strengthen your immunity, reduce inflammation and release stress.

Consider fasting to improve your health. Read Fast This Way by Date Asprey.

Safety first! Be aware of your surroundings. Learn some self-defense. Take a gun safety certification course. Store your firearms in a safe. Wear a helmet.

Get social! Make new friends. You may be given the opportunity to reform or create new social media platforms that honor free speech.

Express your creativity. Come up with a creative solution. Or, do something that requires your creative self-expression.

Contribute to children. Become their advisor or benefactor. Give generously of your time or energy, money or resources to benefit the wellbeing of children. Create scholarships or apprenticeships for them. Teach or mentor the children in your community. Provide wise counsel and guidance to your own children.

Make a list of the things that bring you JOY! Schedule those things into your day, week and month.

How We Can Help Our Men

Be a safe place. This energy is going to inspire men with a desire to get things off their chest. Provide generous listening, without interruption. Hold space for them. Don't take anything personally. Just let them vent and purge.

Encourage men to exercise, meditate and eat healthy. Find them a holistic dentist and make appointments for them with a massage therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist and naturopath.

Soft Metal energy brings out the child in us. For some men this will show up as immaturity and present as the Peter Pan syndrome, in which they "never wanna grow up". For others, it will inspire them to revisit their boyhood dreams and feel an intense desire to live a life full of more fun and friends, play and playmates, adventure and hero's journeys, games and winning in all areas of their life. See the boy in your man, whether it's your husband or father, son or brother. Support them in doing the things that spark joy in their heart!
