Create the space in your life for the gifts when they arrive. Be ready to say, “Yes!” to offers and opportunities when they come your way. Smooth out the bumps in the road or avoid them by slowing your pace, taking a detour or finding another route altogether.
Just as we adjust the feng shui in our living and working spaces to balance the ever changing energies in our environments, so too can we do the inner work to rebalance and realign our personal energy to maintain our wellbeing, whatever current energy is present in the universe.

This month, the Heavenly Blessings star bestows unexpected gifts of money and resources on families on its way out of the center gua. Most importantly, let go of everything you no longer need, to release the old and create space for the new.

Feng Shui for Everyone!

This month the Hard Wood energy invites us to plant our seeds of desire in the hard soil of winter. Be intentional about knowing what you desire and why. Be willing to ask for the desires of your heart. And prepare yourself to receive them as the seeds you plant now hibernate, germinate in Spring and begin to grow.
What YOU can do:
- WHO: Re-evaluate who you really are in this NOW moment.
- WHAT: Make a list of what you really want.
- WHY: Determine which value is honored by each need or desire.
- WHEN: Add a date to each of your intentions or desires.
- HOW: Create daily habits that allow you to embody the person who has all their needs met and desires fulfilled.
The monthly energy can cause blocks in the throat chakra, leading to poor or a lack of communication. You'll want to express how you feel and release any pent up emotions in healthy ways. If writing or speaking are not your forte - cry, sing, hum, chant, repeat mantras, talk to yourself, meditate, pray, paint, dance, etc.
What YOU can do:
- Forgive everyone who harmed you, intentionally or unintentionally, including yourself.
- Journal about your thoughts and feelings.
- Phone a friend and ask if you can vent for a bit. Then, return the favor.
- Ask a wise person for their advice, counsel, guidance or direction.
The hardest thing in life is having feelings in your heart that you can't put into words.

Feng Shui for Men

In the House of Men this month, the "Peach Blossom" star offers opportunities to meet a new love interest and have sexual encounters. You'll want to practice safe sex and make sure it's consensual. Best not to say anything that might put a damper on the mood or that you may come to regret.
This energy supports men in having brilliant ideas for a new business, marketing campaign or special promotion to boost sales. It's also good for asking for and receiving a promotion or raise. Those who work in sales have the potential to earn bigger commissions and generous bonuses.
What YOU can do:
- Write down your good ideas.
- Implement your brilliant marketing plan.
- Ask for the promotion or raise at work.
- Reinvest your profits or bonus into your business.
- Delay signing any contracts or documents until next month.
- Make sure to properly warm up before exercising to avoid muscle strains or injuries.
Invest in as much of yourself as you can. You are your own biggest asset by far.

Feng Shui for Women

In the House of Women this month, the "Future Prosperity" star rekindles the passion you have for your own life and invites you to envision your future, set intentions for your future prosperity, plan for your future and begin embodying your future self NOW by consistently practicing your daily habits, rituals and routines.
In combination with the annual energy, women may feel the need to vent or express their emotions as a way to release them. There are lots of healthy ways to purge your energy of the low vibe emotions you've experienced or stored this year. This month the best ones include the cleansing energy of the element of fire.
What YOU can do:
- Write a letter to your future self about your beautiful life!
- Write letters of forgiveness to people who have hurt you and burn them.
- Light a candle and say out loud all of things on your heart and mind that are upsetting to you and intend that the flame is consuming the energy.
- Cleanse your house with smoke and fire (Palo Santo or Sage and the Fire Cleansing Ceremony)
- Take a candlelit shower or salt bath.
Forgiveness is the cleansing fire that burns away old regrets and resentments.

Feng Shui for Children

In the House of Children this month, the dreaded Yellow Earth is visiting. The best way to work with this energy is to encourage your children to be calm, rest and focus on a healthy lifestyle. It's a good opportunity to teach them about self care rituals and healthy habits they can practice daily and weekly. Taking supplements and drinking water, sunlight and grounding, calming baths and restorative sleep. Encourage peaceful activities like reading, journaling, drawing, meditation, yoga and practical life skills like cleaning, tidying and organizing.
Children are susceptible to broken bones, especially of the four limbs, this month. Avoid risky behavior, rough play or dangerous activities like downhill skiing at night. Wear protective gear and helmets when playing outside.
.What YOU can do:
- Feed them nutritious meals.
- Have them take high quality supplements.
- Keep home remedies ready, if needed.
- Ask them to check in periodically.
- Help them get to bed on time.
- Caution them to always practice safety first.
- Do a weekly detox bath.
Healthy habits are learned in the same way as unhealthy ones - through practice.
